Toronto Rehabilitation Institute

The Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (Toronto Rehab) is a fully affiliated teaching hospital of the University of Toronto, specializing in adult rehabilitation and complex continuing care. The 530 bed hospital, which incorporates growing outpatient services, was formed in 1998 by the amalgamation of the former Lyndhurst Hospital, the Rehabilitation Institute of Toronto and the Toronto Rehabilitation Centre. Services to people with Multiple Sclerosis are offered in the spinal cord rehabilitation program, the neuro rehabilitation program and the complex continuing care program, and are provided through inpatient, outpatient and day hospital services.
