The science of hearing,
particularly diagnostic testing and the study of impaired hearing that
cannot be improved by medical or surgical therapy. Audiology
programs including: consultation, clinics, on-site hearing-aid
dispensaries, and hearing health care services are available at these
locations (a physician's referral assists access).

Competency
/ Community Assessment

The
Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care has a team of professionals
providing clinical assessment towards opinions about the mental capacity
of older adults. There is also a day hospital for older adults
living in the community who are having difficulty functioning in their
homes. The program assists older adults who have complex health
problems requiring rehabilitation through: nursing, occupational
therapy, speech-language pathology, dietary, physiotherapy, recreational
therapy, and vocational counselling.
Ear,
Nose & Throat
This service includes the
treatment of ear, nose and throat manifestations of Multiple Sclerosis,
as well as quality of life enhancement. Services include:
consultation, assessment, evaluation and counselling. A
physician's referral is required.
Neuropsychology
Combines Neurology and psychology, to study the relationship between the
functioning of the brain and cognitive processes or behaviour, using
psychological testing and assessment to assay central nervous system
function, and diagnose specific behavioural or cognitive deficits or
